Our Association was founded in April 1993 and was registered as a brotherhood organisation on 8 June 1993 by the Municipal Court.

According to our Statues, our primary objective is to promote the professional, financial and social interests of our members being active in the industries related to manufacturing automotive components and as well to develop the overall image of these industries towards the residents and businesses.

We are also making efforts to support our members at the fields of technical development, commerce and finance and our priorities also include sending regular information updates and contributing to maintaning and expanding the markets.

At the date of our foundation, we had 22 members. Since that date the number of our members has grown to 298 out of which 86 are supporting members. Taking into account that there is a total of about 340-360 companies active in this industry in Hungary, it is remarkable that our Association directly represents about 75 to 80 % of the Hungarian automotive component manufacturers.
